**What youll be doing** **:**

+ **Leverage sales methodologies to retain and grow customer base.**

+ **Sell to customers to secure contractual commitments from generalist EBIs and TBIs across all categories, and work with iKAMs (Inside Key Account Managers) to strategically grow account by selling to top users and sites**

+ **Serve accounts by coordinating with the CSC (Customer Success Consultant) to complete customer maintenance requests and renewing customer contracts where necessary**

+ **Create and maintain account map to build strategic growth plans and identify new opportunities for resource deployment of iKAMs, Category Account Executives, and Business Development**

+ **Utilize Salesforce on a regular basis to keep customer data updated, manage a healthy pipeline and advance opportunities as they progress**

+ **Know your products, customers, and vertical markets**

+ **Responsible for targeting which customers to pursue and when; prioritized based on knowledge and understanding of the business**

+ **Responsible for coordinating and executing account planning processes in conjunction with iKAM, CSC, and KAE.**

+ **Oversee pricing negotiations for specific sales opportunities will need to coordinate the bid and quote process and make discretionary pricing decisions based on knowledge of the account and assessment of future spend potential**

**What you bring to the table** **:**

+ **Experience and proven track record of managing programs or business development**

+ **Ability to interface at customers most senior levels**

+ **Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations**

+ **Consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills**

+ **Ability to set targets, design growth plans and work with product category sales team members**

+ **Strong business, financial, operations and technology acumen**

+ **Ability to analyze customer data, business and industry trends to create tailored solutions for customers based upon Staples value proposition**

+ **Ability to function independently with minimal daily supervision**

**Qualifications :**

**Whats needed- Basic Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of successful sales experience

**Whats needed- Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelors degree

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic software tools

+ Worked cross-functionally in a medium to large, complex company

+ Prior management and prospecting experience with Fortune 1000 accounts

+ Had responsibility for a sales budget and track record of exceeding quota

+ Managed a complex deal shaping from start to finish

+ Experience with business-to-business sales process

+ Had responsibility to retain and grow accounts
