Job Description
Our clients are focused on improving business performance, responding quickly and effectively to crisis situations, and extracting value from transactions. Our growing Industrial Products and Services industry team provides strategy, management, technology and risk consulting services to help a diverse set of clients around the world anticipate and address their most complex business challenges. This industry vertical team includes clients within the Industrial Products and Energy, Utilities & Mining sectors.

Our IT Function Transformation consultants help our clients improve business value through optimizing efficiencies and effectiveness of their IT capabilities. This high performing group plays a critical role in multi-disciplinary business strategy teams. We enable our clients to understand, plan for, and realize strategic business opportunities presented by information technology through a collection of capabilities such as IT organization, IT cost and value, and IT governance.

As a valued member of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Information Management team, you will help our clients in the following manner:

-Ownership of the enterprise architecture development lifecycle for clients.

-Coordinate the development of architectural frameworks and lead the population of these frameworks with coherent and consistent architectural views in the context of the client's business environment. The individual is responsible for establishing the scope of the enterprise in question, setting down architectural principles and vision and for ensuring the rigor and integrity of the enterprise architecture, together with associated deliverables

-Evaluate the feasibility of the enterprise architecture and technologies related to a business change

-Ensure technology consistency and integration with a client's business strategies

-Identify risks associated with the enterprise architecture and various technologies

-Assess a client's current enterprise architecture, processes and performance from a technical standpoint

-Understand and present the tactical and strategic benefits of adopting a consistent architectural approach within the context of the client's business to help the client justify his investments.

-Assist in prioritizing and developing architectural improvements


-Recommend alternative technical solutions, methodologies or strategies

-Advise CXO's on trends and emerging enterprise data management, data warehousing and business intelligence (Enterprise Data Management/ Data Warehousing/ Business Intelligence) technologies and strategies.

-Assist in prioritizing and preparing Data Architecture and recommend alternative data management solutions, methodologies or strategies

-Collaborate with a team of architects within business, application/systems, data/information and technical architecture disciplines and must be able to explain clearly the benefits of an architectural approach.

Position/Program Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

Provide guidance of how merger integration or separation activities will impact the clients processes, technology, organization, etc. Identify and prioritize the projects required to achieve integration or separation objectives
- Assist with the development and / or evolution of relevant intellectual capital including frameworks, tools, templates, etc.
Run and/or participate in running of the IT Integration Management Office (IT-IMO), IT Separation Management Office (IT-SMO), and establish the governance, processes, tools and templates to support the planning, design, and executing of Day 1 and post Day 1 strategies

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 5 years contributing on or managing enterprise business architecture projects.

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Understanding IT operating mode, vendor contracts and development IT budgeting including standard cost analysis;

- Understanding deeply one of the process areas: Order to Cash, Source to Pay, Plan to Produce or Record to Report;

- Driving inventory and disposition of applications, development of ERP approaches, development of Day 1 and post Day 1 strategies and the transition into Day 1 and post Day 1 execution activities; and,

- Understanding infrastructure inventory of infrastructure assets, development of related strategies (e.g., Data Center and Hosting, Networking, End User Computing, Facilities / Site Support, etc.) and the ability to drive the transition to Day 1 and post Day 1 execution activities.

- Coordinating, facilitating and creating presentations;
- Understanding and documenting existing systems and technology; and,
- Gathering, analyzing and articulating high-level business capabilities and requirements.
