Job Description


Under the guidance and direction of management, analyze customer orders, supply plans, demand plans and inventories with the goal of minimizing supply interuptions to top tier customers.  Report creation, generation and analysis for use by management. Participate in the customer back order reporting process. Participation in cross functional and departmental meetings and processes.  Support reporting processes and coordinate item master data changes.  Assist with Order Management as related to inventory allocation.

Key responsibilities include for this role include:

  • Review EDI orders twice daily to determine if order volume is within allowable parameter to ship (based on customer priority, forecast, current inventory & future supply)
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Customer Operations, Supply Chain and Product Management to understand product specific supply issues and timing of resolution
  • Update/maintain inventory strategies based on direction from upper management and/or Product Management to maintain optimal inventory levels to support our highest priority customers
  • Collaborate with team members to develop process improvements where we can be more efficient in our daily responsibilities
  • Identify any system issues we have with our SAVII workbench and where improvements can be made


  • Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Marketing and/or Inventory Management experience (or any other Customer Service or related experience)
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to continually changing responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills to allow for collaboration among many groups internally (upper management, Customer Service, Product Management, Customer Operations & Supply Chain)
  • Adept reporting abilities within Excel (BI experience preferred, but not required)
  • Strong analytical background to help facilitate best in class inventory strategies
