Primarily days, with core hours from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Weekend and evening hours may be required as workload demands.

Job Summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a strong leader to serve as the Interventions and Partnerships Manager for the NIH HEALing communities grant. This is a four-year grant aimed to decrease opioid overdose deaths by 40 percent in 16 Kentucky communities. The Interventions and Partnerships Manager will provide oversight to, direct, and otherwise organize contracted community research and treatment interventions. Providing technical support to community partners and maintaining compliance with Study goals and methods, this position will ensure that all administrative, operational and logistical goals of the grant are being met by the Study’s contracted and other community partners. Partnering with the Study’s scientific leads and staff, the Interventions and Partnerships Manager serves as the primary liaison from the Study to the Study’s contracted partners, and directs and coordinates partner efforts to effect compliance with Study goals, objectives, and contracted deliverables. Continuously striving towards successful implementation of the Study’s goals, the position will formulate and implement strategies to optimize partner involvement in multiple regional areas by organizing the establishment of integrated care networks with local communities designed to reach those at the highest risk and increase access to evidence-based care.

Preferred Education/Experience

Masters degree preferred. Experience in substance use treatment or similar services preferred.
