Job Description
The Communications and Change Team works with leadership to enable the firm's vision, strategy, values and purpose.

Team members are strategic advisors who specialize in driving sustainable change and implementing effective communications strategies to drive the firm's key priorities and enhance the culture of the firm.

The Internal Communications and Change Team is dedicated to driving change and enhancing the culture at the firm by managing the effectiveness of firmwide and/or business/functional strategic priorities.

The team creates high quality and high impact communications that engage partners and staff and enhance the firm's culture and brand inside the firm.

The Channels

team is responsible for identifying and delivering on the most appropriate and effective channels to support the delivery of firm communications.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree English, Journalism, Communications, or Change Management

Knowledge Preferred:

The Channels Director will be dedicated to delivering on the most appropriate and effective channels to deliver the firms communications, enhancing the culture at the firm by executing on firmwide and/or business/functional strategic priorities. This critical role is seen as a strategist and advisor to the business.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities as a team leader emphasizing the following areas:

- Having a deep knowledge of technology and leading-industry best practices around channels and emerging communications tools;
- Creating a channel strategy and vision for a team, and making sure all team members understand their role in helping to achieve that vision;
- Operating with an innovative and business-focused mindset, and helping team members understand how their role impacts the business top line growth and bottom line profitability;
- Being viewed as a strategic advisor and business partner who is able to connect the dots between a group strategy and broader business strategy;
- Driving change through experience and knowledge of a business, with a technical expertise in communications;
- Having a deep understanding of communication channels and channel strategy;
- Having a deep understanding of technology as relates to communications channels, including social media tools;
- An individual commitment to continuous improvement through innovation, simplification and leveraging best communications practices, and holding team members accountable for doing the same;
- Adhering to the highest standards of quality and accuracy
Identifying and eliminating non-strategic communications;
- Providing coaching and real-time development opportunities for junior team members;
- Driving enhancements and looking for opportunities to make improvements based on stakeholder feedback and availability of technology; and,
- Creating and maintaining a broad network of contacts in the US and beyond.

Skills Preferred:

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts, as both an individual contributor and team leader, identifying and addressing client needs in the following areas:

- Developing and executing communications strategies in a corporate or professional service environment;
- Demonstrating experience with technology and a wide array of internal and external communications platforms;
- Demonstrating proven ability to communicate effectively and with impact across all levels;
- Demonstrating experience serving as an industry-leading specialist in change and communications;
- Demonstrating experience directing executive/leadership communications, large webcasts, and storyboards for multi-media/video planning; and,
- Demonstrating proven ability working across multiple communications platforms, including social media, video, and digital.
