a key role in our people organization focused on talent management,
organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. Youll
partner with multiple Corporate Retail Corporate Business
Units and strategically drive comprehensive human resource programs for high
performing teams that supports Staples retail mission, vision and core values.

**KeyResponsibilities:**









**_Be an HR Strategist:_**



+ Champion and drive key HR programs with an aptitude for analytics andproblem solving including the ability to diagnose root causes

+ Impact the business strategy as a coachingresource for managers to effectively manage their teams

+ Partner with Talent Management to identify,communicate and deliver training solutions to address associate skill,knowledge and leadership gaps

+ Provide thought leadership and projectsupport for various talent management initiatives and projects







**_Lead in HR Program Management and develop strong HR partnerships:_**



+ Facilitate annual HR programs likeperformance management, merit process and succession planning

+ Partner with Talent Acquisition on everythingrecruitment, (e.g. diversity and inclusion, headcount, offers)

+ Understand associate relations issues, providecounsel to the business and partner with AR

+ Partner with Compensation on offers,promotional offers, job evaluations and market competitiveness







**_Develop strong business relationships as a strategic andtrusted HR Advisor:_**



+ Proactively advise managers on emergingworkplace trends and recommend associate engagement strategies

+ Understand associate needs using focusgroups, exit interviews etc. to help promote satisfaction and ensure strategiesare in place to foster an inclusive culture and maintain a union freeenvironment

+ Advise and consult with managers on peopleissues and performance improvement by helping identify root cause and developingsolutions

+ Provide input into the people capabilityplanning process and help identify solutions to address business needs















**Qualifications**













**Qualifications:**



+ 4+ years of HR Business Partner experience

+ Experience working in large corporateorganization with a matrix structure

+ Bachelors Degree

+ Ability to prioritize, manage multipleprojects, be flexible and strong adaptability skills

+ Proven track record of building effectivebusiness partnerships in a consultative model with a foundation for coachingand facilitation skills

+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate crossfunctionally with the executive management team and HR COEs
