Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelor Degree

Required Fields of Study:
Accounting, Economics, Business Administration/Management, Health Administration, Industrial Engineering

Minimum Years of Experience:
7 year(s) with experience as an Associate Director or Senior Manager in a manufacturing or supply chain function within the life sciences industry and having prior consulting roles including a Manager or Senior Manager at a consulting firm in a supply chain function with prior roles within the pharmaceutical life sciences industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree Preferred:
Master of Business Administration

Additional Educational Preferences:

Master of Public Health or Master of Health Adminstration will also be considered

Certification(s) Preferred:

as a Certified Material and Resource Professional, CMRP, or APICS certified.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Managing teams involving the supply chain within the Healthcare Industry; and,

- Managing budget development, financial management and staff, and producing white papers and/or publishing journal articles on the topic of supply chain management.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success managing the supply chain process in three or more of the following skill sets, as well as a specialty in pharmaceutical and biologics supply chain and operations including:

- GHX integration;

- Financial analysis and modelling;

- Operational excellence, including operations strategy development, implementation, and due diligence;

- Strategic sourcing;

- Distribution and logistics;

- Supply chain planning;

- Process review, redesign and implementation;

- Clinical supply chain planning;

- In-sourcing and/or outsourcing assessment;

- Inventory management;

- Manufacturing footprint optimization;

- Capital asset management; and,

- Analysis and communication.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Identifying and addressing client needs;

- Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;

- Communicating value propositions;

- Managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections;

- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials;

- Performing as a team leader; and,

- Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation.
