The Role

This is an opportunity to become the Head of Marketing for WorkMarket, an ADP company. The Head of Marketing, working closely with the General Manager, Senior Sales leaders, and other marketing partners is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy to meet business objectives, with an emphasis on new client acquisition to drive sales growth. The ability to successfully navigate across multiple business units and segments to drive results and relationships is key, along with a growth mindset. This role will manage a team of direct and matrixed marketing professionals to flawlessly execute the marketing plan across multiple channels. The leader will play a key role in both the Senior Leadership Team of WorkMarket and in the broader Compliance Solutions marketing organization of ADP.


  • Create a strategic marketing plan and oversee execution which includes monitoring successes and areas of opportunities through clearly articulated analytics, with the ability to quickly adapt based on evolving business objectives.
  • Work closely within WorkMarket's cross-functional teams, marketing centers of excellence and across ADP business units to help shape and inform WorkMarket's go-to-market strategy by segment.
  • Coordinate with BU Marketing teams to infuse the contingent worker story into core HCM platform messaging to drive WorkMarket reach and new logo growth for core HCM solutions.
  • Manage internal team as well as contractors, vendors and agency relationships that supplement the overall marketing efforts.
  • Create a strategy and oversee the execution of ongoing and targeted and integrated marketing campaigns which included digital (Workmarket.com, SEM, display, social), email, direct mail, events and more while carefully tracking and analyzing key performance metrics.
  • Spearhead client advocacy efforts including the identification of clients for case studies, referrals, peer reviews, and more.
  • Develop the content strategy across all stages of the buyers' journey and oversee the execution and activation.
  • Collaborate with product management and product marketing to develop a differentiated message while championing the use of that message across functions.
  • Represent the external market and voice of customer in the WorkMarket Senior Leadership Team to help shape the future of offering and the go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with external communications to help bring awareness to the WorkMarket brand and ensure they are positioned as a leader in gig economy to prospects, industry analysts and media.
  • Manage the marketing budget to support business objectives.


  • 8-12 years relevant Marketing experience.
  • Proven ability to operate in a dynamic, highly matrixed organization, fast-paced environment.
  • Requires a proven background of not only leading and managing teams, but an active involvement in the everyday deliverables.
  • Well-spoken with a professional, can-do attitude with experience working with and managing up to executive leadership expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and leading marketing programs, experience driving sales growth at high velocity, driving content strategy and driving digital and web initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with broad perspective and, at the same time, demonstrates an acute attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly.
