Position Description:
The Design Center is a spectacular new interactive showroom experience. Our showroom, unlike any other with endless inspiration everywhere you look, thanks to our 30+ interactive kitchen, bath, and laundry rooms. Customers will explore hundreds of products from the most innovative brands in appliances, cabinetry, fixtures and more!

Position Purpose:
The HDDC Installation Project Coordinator serves as the customer advocate, to ensure the highest quality installation for complex customer projects. This role builds a strong partnership with the Service Providers, Order Management Specialist (OMS) and their assigned Installation Management Specialist. This associate is the gatekeeper for administrative tasking utilized to support the Installation Management Specialist and the customer's project. The HDDC Installation Project Coordinator proactively supports the Installation Management Specialist, to keep them informed of the status of their assigned projects. This position partners with the Order Management Specialist (OMS) to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of all special orders from the initial sale through the lifecycle of project completion. The Installation Project Coordinator provides updates for the Installation Management Specialist by working with the OMS to verify shipments, inquire about product availability, product returns and secure product lead times on any necessary re-orders. This position interacts with HDDC OMS, vendors, HDDC showroom associates, The Home Depot store associates, Logistics Specialist, trucking/shipping companies, Service Providers and the customers to ensure excellent customer service.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
90% Customer Service - Reschedules appointments and cancel when appropriate; Answers inbound calls from customers who have been referred through a store associate, internet lead or other source; Confirms scheduled appointments by validating appointment date/time, address, phone number and project status; Resolves customer complaints or involves the appropriate Install Management Specialist/HDDC Manager to ensure customer satisfaction; Utilizes all available tools to receive, review, respond and update all relevant information; Cooperates with Associates, Installation Managers, Supervisors, and Managers, and completes work activities, as assigned; Documents all Install Management Specialist/Service Provider/OMS/Vendor/Delivery Agent interactions in the computer system for tracking

10% Self-Development - Routinely develops skills in related areas of expertise; Maintains awareness of daily, weekly, monthly sales reports; Proactively seeks knowledge on all HDDC products and services
