A key component for success of this role requires broad scope in Project & Sr. Level Program Management and/or prior supervisory experience. It is ideal to have HCM industry experience background and/or 3rd Party Vendor ERP Implementation Program Management experience as a summary. 

Position Summary:

As a member of ADP's MNC Global Program Management Office, Global Program Directors are responsible for planning, monitoring and managing the delivery of programs within and beyond ADP MNC space to meet agreed deliverables, scheduled timeframes and allocated budgets. Global Program Director must follow ADP's defined program/project methodology and manage client expectations throughout the lifecycle of the program across all regions and ADP solutions. The Associate will be responsible to develop detailed / integrated plans for complex programs involving challenging requirements, limited resources and fixed deadlines. Ensure the development and maintenance of program charters cost estimates, work plans, issues / risk logs, status reports and other associated deliverables for the program managed. Establish program structure which ensures task / timeline / status reporting, project staffing, along with control and governance for managing issues, risks, and scope (via change control). Manage cross-functional interdependencies between multiple ADP solutions or external partners' applications. Lead teams by coaching, training, motivating and mentoring. Own risk management and issue/problem resolution for the programs managed. Ensure adherence to corporate security and regulatory guidelines. Manage, track, report financial measurements for program or client(s) tracking key progress to targeted goals and working with team to address noted deficiencies. Responsible for organizing and running the steering committee meetings and lead client/ADP program/project resources/associates. The associate must therefore have a good understanding of the ADP Implementation process in different business units, the ADP solutions and ADP Service offerings together with the ability to represent the Global Program Management Office at the highest client management layers.

The Associate will be involved in multiple internal iniitatives around a Business Process Improvements and definition of the ADP Implementation Methodology. Reporting to the MNC Global Program Management Office Director this role is a key part of the MNC Implementation organization and will be required to build relationships with other parts of the ADP business around the world to ensure consistency and best practice is applied.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in sales activities for the ADP prospects and/or nominate associates under your responsibility to support those activities Essential

 Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Required Bachelor's Degree


  • More than 12 Years Program/Project Management experiences within ADP required
  • International Program/Project Management experiences required Multi-solution program/project delivery experiences required
  • HCM/BPO Program/Project Management Experiences
  • Ability to manage and lead a remote team of people for the purposes of achieving program/project outcomes.
  • Experience of international program/project management is required.
  • Six Sigma Experiences Lean Process Management in Services Experiences
  • Management Experience
  • Proven ability to manage resources across multiple, large-scale projects successfully 
  • Demonstrated ability to define, develop, and deliver exceptional project management methodologies 
  • Experience in defining and executing quality reviews and risk mitigation plans for projects Experience in Project Management/Implementation Leadership is preferable

 Additional Details Provided by Hiring Manager:

The GlobalView Project Director is responsible for ensuring consistent use of the Global HR Data model. In addition, they will enhance ADP's international Associate's experience as it relates to the Associate Portal, Policy Acknowledgments and communications.
Other input to be considered:
  • Proven track record of experience in a formal Project Management role, using comparable processes and procedures to those employed by ADP. Experience with ASAP methodology is a plus.
  • Extensive experience of supervising the activities of teams of 20 or more people, in either a line or project reporting relationship. Successful completion, as Project Manager, of at least 2 projects with a scope of 20,000 or more hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with executive level managers in a project-oriented setting where project risk is substantial and communication requirements are highly complex
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective teams in a project-oriented setting where the team is large, geographically dispersed, and may have conflicting priorities and/or goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain highly complex, leveled and balanced Project Plans using a software tool such as Microsoft Project, or other comparable tool.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate project risks in order to successfully meet project objectives.

  • Experience managing full lifecycle implementations (20,000+ hours) for highly complex HR or Payroll software for Fortune 1000 companies. Experience with SAP projects a plus.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree
  • PMP/PMI Certification OR Prince 2 Certification
