Youll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.Our Learning and Development Technology team manages construction of interactive training modules that facilitate effective learning at all staff levels. As part of the team, youll help with building learning dashboards, white board modules, digital learning exercises and other formats of interactive learning that facilitate effective individualised and team based learning.

The Global Learning and Development (L&D) team is responsible for running a number of business services to the Network including Vantage, Curation & Content.This role is part of a global, virtual team which employs people across multiple territories and will interact closely with the Global Chief Learning Strategist. Out of hours flexibility will be required as this role services the Network and virtual meetings and calls may need to be scheduled in consideration of all the worlds time zones.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

  • Leading the business operations of Vantage, (PwCs global learning management/experience platform) working in partnership with PwC Technology who are responsible for the IT side of the service;
  • Establishing the service runs effectively within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs);
  • Confirming territories are able to use Vantage on a day to day basis and establishing all business processes are in place and optimised to support them from both the LMS and the Experience Platform side;
  • Establishing issues are managed and resolved on any service interruptions and that business stakeholders are kept informed;
  • Providing appropriate advice and counsel to territories on how to drive the learning experience from the system and how to use all of the features and functionality;
  • Driving service optimisation and benefits realisation to establish territories maximise the return on their investment;
  • Reviewing DXC releases (upgrades and patch fixes), determining impact on users, and working with the key stakeholders and user group to manage release roll-outs;
  • Overseeing the design and delivery of training for territories including the sharing of industry leading practices on all aspects of Vantage, new releases and features;
  • Providing leadership and oversight to the Vantage User Group and related governance processes and establishing they meet the needs of the Network;
  • Preparing communications and presentations for all levels of leadership on Vantage and the services provided;
  • Working collaboratively with other L&D service managers, including those responsible for content management, curation and learning analytics, to establish all Global L&D services and processes intersect appropriately and the Network receives a seamless user experience;
  • Working with vendors and other stakeholders in the Network to identify and implement ongoing service improvements;
  • Possessing an understanding of the entire Global L&D ecosystem and be knowledgeable of Agile development techniques;
  • Demonstrating specialization and skills in Learning Management solutions, particularly Cornerstone and Vantage as well as being able to talk with authority on either product with both internal stakeholders and the vendor;
  • Possessing an understanding of the global network and other global IFS supporting functions;
  • Understanding of how L&D must work/integrate with other groups across the organization to accomplish mutual goals/firm strategy;
  • Directing teams that manage, enhance and optimise ongoing business as usual services and activities;
  • Possessing relationship and stakeholder management skills;
  • Working with leaders in other global teams, with global LoS L&D groups and with key stakeholders from the business;
  • Possessing the ability to influence effectively at all levels and persuade others to take a course of action when there is no direct line of command or control;
  • Managing a portfolio of work encompassing Business As Usual (BAU) activities and development projects, such as 3rd party integrations;
  • Demonstrating the ability to plan, monitor and prioritise tasks and projects;
  • Using analytical skills to effectively identify issues and potential risks;
  • Making decisions and solving problems by analysing information and evaluating results;
  • Maintaining focus on agreed objectives and deliverables;
  • Keeping commercial aspects continually in mind when taking actions or making decisions; and,
  • Being highly energised and motivated to effect change and influence the firms approach to people development.
