A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long term revenue growth. Our Sales and Marketing Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell PwCs brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluate our pricing strategies in the marketplace.


Responsibilities

As a Director, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines
  • Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors
  • Identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities
  • Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications
  • Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria
  • Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
  • Responsibility for management of engagement financials
  • Helping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coaching

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrated thought-leader level experience in developing marketing strategies and programs that drive local market and business objectives and provide the overall direction for marketing activities. Demonstrated knowledge of marketing trends and best practices and applies new thinking and innovation to marketing program. Demonstrated thought-leader level understanding of competitive positioning leveraged to develop messaging and marketing strategies, and react to emerging market/client needs. In-depth understanding of key business issues our clients are facing and aligns our go-to-market strategy and point-of-view(s) around those issues.

Ability to evaluate, analyze and interpret voice of the customer and market research information from a variety of sources. Proven ability to leverage writing skills in order to translate complex concepts into easy to understand and compelling messaging. Proven ability to manage marketing budget, across all programs. Demonstrated ability to measure and track results of marketing programs and report on Return On Investment (ROI). Demonstrated ability to manage entire marketing programs area budget based upon market-defined priorities and objectives. Proven ability to overcome internal barriers and resource constraints in order to produce successful programs, effectively manage accelerating changes as required in a dynamic market and organization. Demonstrated ability to oversee overall responsibility for driving adherence to risk management protocols. Demonstrated ability to be responsible for strategy and execution of complex marketing programs. Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with highest levels of our firm leadership. Proven ability to generate and lead the development of marketing tactics across a wide variety of functional areas of marketing including: brand, digital and social marketing, public relations, analyst relations, corporate responsibility, alumni communications, collateral, thought leadership, sales tools, and events. Ability to manage on-going marketing strategy and drive change by collaborating with market leaders, and other marketing and sales professionals. Ability to directly interact with clients, alumni relations, community business leaders and organizations who are local buyers and influencers. Ability to represent the firm at external events and is the liaison with community and professional organizations and coordinates with strategic alliances and partnerships. Ability to lead a marketing team, including coaching and development and overseeing responsibilities of team members. Experience with social channels and digital media.
