Shift | Office hours are 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Preferred shift is 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM. Number of hours per shift is 4 – 8 hours per day. Evening shifts from 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM available. |
Job Summary | Assistant Teacher will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children that encourage and supports social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. The Assistant Teacher will assist classroom teacher in designing and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum according to the guidelines established by Creative Beginnings Child Development Center. The Assistant Teacher will nurture positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues. In addition, the Assistant Teacher will ensure safety and supervision of children at all times by meeting physical demands of the position. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | The Teacher Assistant shall have an overall understanding of child development and recommended practices and have experience in working with children. |
