High School Diploma and at least one semester of college at UK. Must be awarded FWS funding or will be awarded FWS funding for Fall 2020.

Required Related Experience

Customer service and office experience/clerical work preferred.

Physical Requirements

Sitting for long periods, walking across campus, able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Shift

10 – 15 hours per week. Shifts available Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must maintain same weekly schedule throughout semester.

Job Summary

Duties include answering the phone, tracking daily visit schedule, data entry, filing and miscellaneous duties as assigned. Must have good general office and computer skills, be detail-oriented, reliable, efficient, and able to work with minimal supervision. This position includes significant interaction with prospective students/families, faculty, and administration. Customer service and public relation skills are a must. Team player attitude desired.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred, strong communication and customer service skills, capable of handling confidential information, and attention to detail. Working knowledge of UK’s campus landscape is preferred. Training for all duties will be provided.
