A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. Youll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud.Our Financial Analysis and Reporting team is responsible for managing PwCs financial risk through financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and tactical consulting. As part of the team, youll help with budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting, shared services and financing.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in staff reimbursement operations and compliance with emphasis in the following areas:

  • Understanding daily staff reimbursement operations and industry leading practices;
  • Performing risk-based reviews on firm data to establish compliance with Firm and regulatory guidelines;
  • Conducting independent investigations and forensic reviews to mitigate potential risk and anticipate current and future business needs and policy enhancements; and,
  • Building knowledge and skills to continuously develop customer service, teaming, and reporting skill sets.

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as both an individual contributor and team member, identifying and addressing customer needs by:

  • Resolving issues, accurately answering escalations, and proactively reporting potential issues and/or independence violations that may impact financial results or the customer;
  • Analyzing and reconciling staff reimbursement activity, identifying possible issues, making recommendations, and supporting conclusions accurately;
  • Providing analytical and technical assistance to the team;
  • Utilizing the Firm's standard suite of work solutions, such as Google Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP R3, Business Warehouse, Oracle, etc.;
  • Innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions /modeling tools;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with business partners, finance leaders, and stakeholders;
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve data discrepancies and establishing proper documentation is prepared; and,
  • Demonstrating ability to effectively multitask and prioritize daily activities.
