Job Description

Hours

 

N2 Shift- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday from 6:00 pm- 6:30 am.

 

Key Responsibilities  

                                                                                                                                                    

  • Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
  • Scheduled Preventive and Predictive maintenance based on the established schedules as well as on demand maintenance. This would include but is not limited to Specialized Pharmaceutical Manufacturing equipment and Ancillary Equipment.
  • Being effective and proactive in supporting the operations department.
  • Timely closure of Routine and NRWO with proper documentation, e.g. Logbooks filled out and work order is detailed.  Any issues are brought to managements attention.
  • Adherence to established policies, procedures and SOPs.
  • Housekeeping of the production core maintenance areas including maintenance Shop and storage areas. Support of the 5S mentality.
  • Troubleshooting and repair of the manufacturing and ancillary equipment within the production core at the facility.
  • Will implement safe work practices and process controls to ensure a safe operation of equipment and facility.  May include job hazard analysis, failure fault trees, and risk assessments to drive a preventable injury work place and continuously safe process.
  • Actively participate in operational improvement meetings, Safety Meetings and vendor consultations. 
  • Ability to use a multitude of electrical and mechanical test equipment and tools.
  • Computer Literate and can use common computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. Ability to learn new software with training.  Experience with the EAM equipment maintenance is a plus.
  • Continued training to improve skill sets.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

 

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 1 years of working experience in a manufacturing maintenance department. Pharmaceutical experience is a plus. Technical Training and/or working experience in a trade may also be considered.
  • Basic mechanical skills, electrical troubleshooting competency. Ability to use a variety of hand and shop tools safely.
