Job Description


The primary purpose of this position is to manage and lead product development efforts for the Rite Aid mobile app. The mobile manager will own the product roadmap and requirements and work with a cross-functional team to build, measure and optimize the app to drive growth that aligns with business goals. Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aids brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.


The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

  • Develop and manage Rite Aids mobile app roadmap
  • Define and prioritize app enhancements based on business goals, customer feedback, competitive analysis, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners and Information Services resources to align and deliver app features that support an omni channel user experience
  • Work with UX, development, QA, analytics and business stakeholder teams to successfully design, build, and deploy product features.
  • Identify technology partners and platform integrations to deliver health and wellness focused app features and tools
  • Identify marketing initiatives to grow net new installs, store and pharmacy sales, and retention targets
  • Establish key performance indicators and success metrics, track results for all product development efforts and create consistent reporting and enhancement recommendations based on this analysis
  • Study the mobile marketing industry to maintain a strong working knowledge of existing and emerging technologies that can efficiently and effectively advance Rite Aids mobile app to support business goals and customer needs

Experience / Requirements

  • Five (5) years' of experience in digital/interactive marketing, leading development of mobile/tablet application platforms. Required
  • Five (5) years experience as a product manager of digital based products or equivalent. Preferred


  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field or equivalent work experience
