Job Description

The Director Market Supply Chain is a key member of the NA Market Supply Chain Leadership Team.  This role will be accountable to lead the Demand Planning & Market Planning processes across a diverse portfolio of plants & products.  The Director Supply Chain is the Primary liaison between TGO Global Supply Network & US Commercial organizations and is accountable to ensure all KPIs are met.  The ideal candidate will have the ability and desire to coach and develop fellow team members, drive Sales & Operations Planning process improvement initiatives, and develop strong working relationships & collaboration x-functionally across the broader global organizations.
Build strategic relationships and act as the primary liason between TGO Global Supply Network of plants & US Commercial organizations 
Own the market supply chain planning process for the assigned portfolio of plants & products S&OP responsibility for Demand & Market Planning, execution, & continuous improvements 
Provide insight and visibility to capacity (RCCP) across the portfolio of manufacturing/packaging sites, highlighting supply opportunities and risks
Key owner to Utilize 6Sigma/Lean principles to identify, lead, & deliver total supply chain cost, productivity, and continuous improvement objectives. 
Actively participate in New Product Launches to ensure supply plans are developed, communicated, and executed in support of the project timelines
Partner with Commercial/Product Operations team to assess lead times and product availability for new business opportunities and bids
In conjunction with Supply Chain COE, support & implement global inventory and supply chain policies, Replenishment strategies, master data optimization, and process management ensuring appropriate levels of safety stock are set and achieved across the assigned portfolio
Lead, Mentor, and Coach team of supply chain planners.  Responsible Hire, train, retain, & promote top talent. Set goals in-line with corporate strategic objectives and monitor progress.  Oversee daily activities to ensure adherence to supply chain policy & ways of working, completing required tasks accurately and within established deadlines. 
Hold team of Planners accountable in creation of ERP based Market Supply chain plan that is balanced and achieves key objectives for Customer Delivery and Inventory across the 18 month planning horizon
Make balanced decisions on supply chain plans (S&OP) to achieve key business & financial objectives of sales, customer delivery, and working capital
Present Supply Chain plan at S&OP meetings, including metrics reporting, risks & opportunities, capacity utilization, escalations, and key decisions required
Lead resolution of all supply chain related topics
Accountable for key supply chain metrics/dashboards: Forecast Accuracy/Bias, CSL/OTIF, Inventory, Restricted/QA stock, Backorder, Open POs, Invoices, Short-Date/write-off. Manage processes to determine root cause when KPIs are out of expected normal ranges. Develop and implements corrective measures
Regular review of Master Production Schedule to ensure Supply Network Planning elements are Timely, Accurate, and Relevant
Facilitate weekly supply huddles with key supply plants.  Identify root causes of service failures, ensure short term balance of supply and demand, and alignment with Commercial peers
Other projects and duties as required/assigned

Qualifications

    Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or related field with a Minimum 7 years experience with a demonstrated knowledge of Supply Chain concepts & Best Practices
    APICS Certification desirable, but not required
    Specific experience in Supply Chain Management, demand & supply planning, inventory management, Sales & Operations planning
    Knowledge of Advanced Planning systems, SAP or Oracle experience strongly preferred
    Experience in implementing supply chain planning & execution systems
    Pharmaceutical experience desirable, but not required
    Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Visio, Powerpoint)
    Demonstrated Leadership Experience in a global matrix environment with ability to deal with ambiguity
    Expertise leading / driving change, and mentor for new leaders or peers
    Strong influence and communication skills within all levels of the organization are a must 
    Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred
    Strong analytical skills, including the ability to think differently about the data which may lead to less obvious conclusions
    Self-starter and self-finisher with high energy level, high sense of urgency, and results oriented
