ADP Marketplace is seeking a Director of Marketing to join our team as a lead influencer in e-commerce B2B marketing. This is a unique opportunity to support the first and largest digital HR storefront focused on helping companies discover, try, buy and implement leading solutions from ADP and our external partners. The Director of Marketing will be a vital team member to help ensure our adoption and success for digital e-commerce and sales-assisted selling in the US. This leader will be responsible for growth marketing, specifically, the role will be focused on developing, executing and optimizing strategic marketing plans across all merchandising channels as well as own on-going operations. This position is a great fit for seasoned marketers that have deep knowledge & understanding of search engine optimization principles and implementation, the ability to analyze and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment and has experience working in matrixed structure. Teams within ADP Marketplace operate in a highly innovative environment and often function as a start-up. The ideal candidate will have the ability to be nimble, creative and agile in a collaborative environment with a cross-functional team. The Director of Marketing will collaborate with a cross-functional team to help drive search engine recommendations within our storefront and across all marketplace properties, inform and implement merchandising strategies to build revenue for solutions within the app store, program and maintain back-end systems to ensure solutions are offered to clients in a meaningful way.

The ideal candidate should have proven, successful experience working across all aspects of marketing inclusive of digital, strategy & planning- and the ability to work cross-functionally to drive go-to-market success. This leader will work very closely with our marketing team, product team and agency partners, as well as internal partners to help develop programs and bring them to life. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, collaborative leader who strives for innovation and results-oriented outcomes. The individual needs to be self-directed and able to handle multiple tasks, delegate responsibility through a matrixed team and prioritize with a professional, can-do attitude and must possess strong interpersonal and project management skills.


  • Lead the evaluation, strategy and implementation of our Coveo recommendation engine.
  • Analyze and manipulate data to make strong search recommendations as well as program the campaigns within our system.
  • Collaborate, develop and project manage merchandising tactics across our available marketing channels.
  • Serve as a primary marketing resource for digital marketing to drive sales through ADP Marketplace. This can include developing go-to-market plans within the app store in conjunction with the broader marketing teams; updating app store listing and more.
  • Deliver measurable results and have the nimbleness to take corrective action based on emerging market opportunities and trends
  • Act as expert (Knowledge Management & Search), product Super User and main point of contact for the Coveo platform
  • Contribute, author, and edit Coveo customer facing content as part of the Coveo Knowledge Management initiative
  • Identify and tag upsell opportunities within the storefront, targeting clients and potential prospects.
  • Implement changes to products app listings on the marketplace. Includes price changes, contract term changes, product tagging, discounts and bundles with other products, trial offerings etc.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to identify, drive and prioritize improvements in product offerings, processes, systems and tools
  • Work together with sales, product, partner and marketing teams to ensure sales and product objectives are advanced through marketing's contributions

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA desirable
  • Minimum of 7 years of related experience in marketing with demonstrated ability in building and leading innovative marketing programs, ideally in B2B environments
  • Tech-savvy with strong technical enterprise-level computer software background supporting SAAS solutions
  • Experience in developing & executing effective search engine optimization strategies
  • Experience with Coveo and App Direct platforms is desired
  • Experience with CRMs (Salesforce preferred) and with Enterprise Content Management, KCS, or other Knowledge Management methodologies
  • Experience in the HCM category a plus
  • Ability to access and analyze data to make informed decisions around search capabilities.
  • Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience working across and navigating cross-functional teams to drive results
  • Working with agencies for creative development and media buys
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and influence cross-functional team
  • Strategic thinker and demonstrates attention to detail and ability to execute flawlessly
  • Outstanding interpersonal, presentation (written and verbal) and process facilitation skills
  • Results-oriented; high sense of urgency and energy
