POSITION SUMMARY
Teva Specialty Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Population Health Strategy and Health System Advocacy in the US market to lead cross-functional teams and agencies that are working with IDNs, Health Systems, and Large Collaborative practices. This position is responsible executing our DIGIHALER launch strategy with IDNs and Population Health Management. The ideal candidate is a strategic, self-starter with excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and communication skills that can engage and influence others while operating in a lean, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Responsibilities Include:
- Create sustainable long-term relationships, access, engagement and collaboration with IDNs, Health Systems and Collaborative practice leads.
- Strategic Vision: Creates and communicates clear vision and spots unidentified business opportunities for TEVAs Population Health Initiative. Utilizes market insights and analysis to identify key segments, business drivers, priorities and growth opportunities
- Excellence in Execution: Meets objectives and deadlines, promotes efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporates improvement and program ROI. Capable of negotiating difficult contract situations to an effective solution. Capable of detailed project planning and ability to develop key S&OPs for process clarity across teams.
- Change Leadership: Innovation, out of the box thinking, inspiring others to embrace and execute ideas. Skilled at leading teams through complex problems within defined policies. Capable of negotiating difficult situations. Creates team culture that inspires and support innovative thinking and risk taking.
- Business Acumen: Takes initiative beyond own area, draws insights from variety of sources and understands market and competition. Skilled in various types of market research and insights, interpreting results & acting upon them.
- Provide strategic leadership and work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and agency / vendor partners to develop internal training and Payer communications plan in collaboration with Health Systems Marketing partners
- Establish a strong alliance with Brand Directors, US Medical Affairs, Global Marketing, Legal and Compliance to plan and execute programs across our partners
- Provide input into forecasts and manage portions of long-range strategic plans and annual operating & brand plans
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Qualifications/Required Experience
Education Required: Bachelors Degree (preferably in Business, Pharmacy or Life Sciences)
- 10 Years of pharmaceutical experience including customer facing/sales experience
- 4 Years of pharmaceutical marketing or thought leader liaison experience
- Experience with engaging KOLs, Advocacy groups and Professional Medical Societies
Experience Preferred
- Education Preferred: RPh, PhD, MBA or Masters Degree
- Successful pre-launch and launch experience
- US Respiratory therapeutic area expertise
- Prior people management experience (2 years)
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strategic thinker who is also accustomed to working in a hands-on manner to accomplish multiple priorities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships as well as influence employees at all level
- Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, teamwork and collaboration capabilities teamwork
- Demonstrated success engaging both internal and external stakeholders, leading or influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage external agencies, vendors and allocated budget
