Demonstrates intimate knowledge and record of success in leading innovative cross-functional teams and extensive project and product management engagements in highly complex and venture-creation environments, which includes the following:

  • Leading teams to create new products and services in both a startup as well as corporate context;
  • Leading teams to define, scope, and execute on technology projects in direct collaboration with potential or active clients and/or partners;
  • Demonstrating a proven record of success in utilizing creative problem-solving skills in venture-capital or lean startup principles;
  • Demonstrating a consultancy mindset while researching problems and issues and developing and offering effective solutions for clients' initiatives related to innovation, technology, data analytics, products, consumer applications / experience and how these apply in highly regulated and complex industries such as e.g. financial services or manufacturing (e.g. IoT);
  • Demonstrating abilities to scope and lead projects using lean-startup and agile principles; and,
  • Demonstrating proven record of consistent success and specialization with leading and managing business development opportunities and/or engagements from pre-sale and initial scoping through final delivery and sign-off.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in scoping and executing on agile / lean startup software projects in complex stakeholder environments, including:

  • Demonstrating responsibility for on-time delivery of software components, prototypes, MVPs; and,
  • Scoping and planning of prototype / MVP implementations.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in early-stage software project validation, scoping, and execution as a team leader and individual contributor, including:

  • Coordinating and communicating with client stakeholders as well as investors, product management, subject matter specialists, other partners, corporate IT and other internal firm services;
  • Driving the definition of technology stack based on project / client requirements, team skills, timeline;
  • Supporting and holding-accountable of team members in planning and execution of work tasks;
  • Demonstrating intimate knowledge of modern software technologies as well as data analytics tools, frameworks, programming languages;
  • Identifying and solving client or stakeholder needs, including complex operations challenges;
  • Making sound software design decisions to achieve both scalability and minimization of development time;
  • Demonstrating strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and individual initiative; and,
  • Seeking and providing feedback proactively.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success working in a modern venture and software development environment with cross-functional team members:

  • Setting up and living agile development process;
  • Creating a creative, innovative, and joyful team culture;
  • Working seamlessly in an agile environment with product managers, BAs, and designers to understand end-user requirements;
  • Formulating use cases, and implement pragmatic and effective technical solutions;
  • Demonstrating experience working with graphic designers and converting designs to visual elements and software; and,
  • Leading the troubleshooting and debugging of technical issues.
