ADP is hiring a Client Manager In this position you will be responsible for on boarding new group health clients once sold and enrolled by sales and provides world class service to Insurance Services group health client base. Ensures that all appropriate systems are updated with client information Handles client inquires throughout the policy lifecycle, as well as providing quarterly calls with the clients. Is responsible for the renewal of business at policy expiration and assessing the client's needs providing alternative polices if appropriate in order to retain the business. Cross sells additional business to existing client base.

  • Client Service: Provides world class service to assigned Insurance Services client base.
  • Takes inquiries from clients on a wide variety of issues and provides solutions through insurance expertise, research of plan documents and/or consultation with carriers.
  • Resolves billing issues, claims issues and resolutions, deduction issues and other client concerns.
  • Responsible for making Quarterly calls to the clients.
  • Performs associated administrative tasks, i.e. data entry, letters, mail, and documentation scanning and filing.
  • Works independently.
  • Needs little help in resolving client issues.
  • New Business On boarding: Receives approval, final rates and enrollment results from Sales Responsible for keying all client information and final rates into the systems to activate the sale and start of the business.
  • Reviews new client information and prepares deduction worksheets for the client based on the final rates from the carriers.
  • Partners with payroll as necessary on deduction code set up, etc.,
  • Performs a welcome call guided by the new business checklist/procedure, confirms client and policy information, sends client letter, and explains their role for the client.
  • Performs associated administrative tasks, i.e. data entry, letters, mail, and documentation scanning and filing.
  • Works independently, stays current with all work.
  • Needs little help in resolving issues.
  • Renewals and re-certifications: Resells business to clients at renewal time, discusses premium increases, assesses client's needs, shares alternatives with accompanying quotes from current carrier as well as alternative quotes with other carriers.
  • Cross sells other Insurance Services products i.e. POP/FSA products and ancillary products i.e. life, dental and disability.
  • Helps clients re-credential or re-certify as needed.
  • Performs associated administrative tasks, i.e. data entry, letters, mail, and documentation scanning and filing.
  • Attains retention goals, broad knowledge of policy alternatives.
  • Leadership: handles escalated client issues. Leads the team in the absence of management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Special projects and/or training of new key account representatives.
  • Senior Level 3: Assists in setting department procedures and training materials, providing recommendations on workflows, system requirements/enhancements and carrier specific procedures.
  • Represents manager/department at meetings when manager is unavailable or to assist the manager when requested.
  • Assists in the training of new associates and the less experienced associates.


  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Must be licensed in states of client base.
  • 1 - 3 Years Experience
