A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. Youll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwCs brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.Our Alumni Relations team is strategically aligned to PwCs priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace through our Alumni. As part of our team, youll help maintain the Alumni Networking programme, which offers members professional networking opportunities, social media forums, and learning and development initiatives.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills: 

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in developing long-term sustainable relationships with C-Suite economic buyer and influencer communities either in job transition or seeking new career options; proven intimate level knowledge of business development strategies and programs developed to drive local market and regional business objectives through execution in the following areas:

  • Identifying revenue opportunities through relationships with talent and share those with account teams or platform owners; 
  • Identifying talent gaps in a market and develop solutions with account teams to pursue them (i.e., merger/acquisition talent in transition, headquarters moves, retirements and resulting vacancies);
  • Driving conversations with partners on Independence and risk issues taking proactive steps to establish that the firms reputation and brand are not put at risk;
  • Winning the confidence of account teams and interact directly with client C-suite and talent acquisition leaders regarding strategic C-suite, VP/Director vacancies at their companies;
  • Maintaining insights into the competitive landscape for Career Transitions Services within their assigned region, the ability to anticipate the strategies employed by competitors, and the skill to craft strategies for leveraging PwCs talent network to benefit key relationships and clients;
  • Understanding of our One Firm strategy, firm-wide Pursuit sales methodology and Platforms, applies these concepts to Career Transitions program in developing and executing broad-based talent candidate and client C-suite economic buyer targeting in support of specific sector, market, and LoS career transition strategies;
  • Understanding C-suite experience skill set, hiring process and strategy;
  • Interacting across a broad range of talent (C-level executives, current PwC directors/senior managers, managing directors and partners) and gaining the confidence of GEPs and other partners in developing a strong network and relationships around the firm;
  • Exhibiting executive presence combined with the ability to interact with colleagues of all levels within PwC and externally with C-level clients, C-level alumni and friends of the firm;
  • Establishing networks of relationships across a broad spectrum of communities (regions, business development, Sector teams, LoS teams, Platform leaders, Human Capital, etc.);
  • Serving as an active contributor to the growth of Career Transitions program, with close collaboration expected with other Career Transitions team members and market teams;
  • Utilizing business development strategy, especially broad business knowledge across multiple functions and sectors;
  • Measuring and tracking results of the Career Transitions program and reporting on the Return on Investment (ROI) e.g., strengthened relationships, introductions to account teams, pipeline associated with landed talent;
  • Overcoming resource constraints in order to produce successful results;
  • Thriving in an evolving organizational environment;
  • Working independently to resolve issues, coordinating with leadership or subject matter specialists when necessary; and,
  • Managing autonomously on-going Career Transitions strategy, drives increased usage of program by sharing value proposition and success by collaborating with market leaders, marketing and sales and human capital professionals.
