Informa Pharma Intelligence currently has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Business Development Executive to join our market leading Pharma Intelligence sales team in New York.

We are an expanding global business, offering an excellent opportunity for a career-driven and money-hungry Business Development Executive looking to establish a fruitful sales career in an ever-growing Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Intelligence business.

Our Business Development Executives are responsible for representing our best in class Pharma Intelligence brands including  ,  ,  and  . You will be responsible for prospecting, sourcing and selling new business subscription sales into high-profile clients within the Americas. We are seeking a confident, organized and disciplined sales professional with experience in selling directly to senior level management, as well as a proven track record of successful B2B sales.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Creating and winning sales opportunities within the Informa Pharma and Healthcare Group by networking, building relationships, establishing needs, conducting online demonstrations and closing deals.
  • Developing your understanding of Informa Pharma Group proposition, our competitors and clients to enable maximized sales and revenue generation.
  • Exceed against monthly revenue targets.
  • Contribute fully to the goals of your Division and achieve the personal objectives set by your manager.

The Ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation and closing skills
  • Previous experience in inside sales and B2B sales
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science discipline or equivalent would be an advantage but not essential
  • Consultative sales experience would be an advantage
  • Proven success in a sales role dealing with senior management in multi-national companies would be an advantage
  • Highly developed business acumen and the ability to understand the wider issues of the industry
  • The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximize product potential
  • Is a diligent self-starter who has the desire to progress.
