Business Development Executive

Join our Business Development team if you are a sales professional who thrives on hunting for large, complex prospective customers.

**What you'll be doing:**

As a Business Development Executive, you will research and prospect companies and schedule in-person presentations with top level executives. In this role, you will be responsible for new business development with large market prospective clients in the commercial, healthcare, public sector and enterprise segments. You are responsible for annual sales for accounts in this space that range from $100K-1.5M and typically have more than 300 employees. These accounts have fairly complex needs that require interaction with a wide range of high-level decision-makers and influencers.

You will identify customer needs and develop a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy which drives value across multiple product categories simultaneously. You will partner with Key Account Managers and Product Category Key Account Executives in a team selling environment, while working with leadership on financial components of the deal. You will also work with functional teams to facilitate proposal formation, pricing strategy, contract review and customer set-up to ensure effective transition of account responsibility and ensure accurate, cost-effective implementations. You will manage CRM through Salesforce.com to insure proper activity tracking and strategic progress along with distribution of marketing/prospecting materials.

**What you bring to the table:**

+ You have a track record of demonstrated successful strategic relationship building and solution selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market

+ You have the ability to consult/sell to high level decision makers & committees in large companies

+ You have a high-level understanding of advanced/complex company business process (in a business-to-business atmosphere) and customer process for acquisition of products, business acumen and analysis

+ You have PC knowledge and capabilities (Microsoft Office), Internet, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Access

+ You have exceptional organizational, administrative, time management and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen

+ You possess excellent verbal & written communication skills

+ You have excellent prospecting skills

+ You have the demonstrated ability to quickly become a subject matter expert in new product knowledge, and successfully adapt to diverse market conditions a plus

**Qualifications :**

**What's Needed- Basic Qualifications:**

+ Minimum of 4 years previous sales experience

+ High school diploma or GED

**What's Needed- Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelors Degree

+ Previous marketing knowledge

+ Knowledge of products, pricing, competition, and sales objectives

+ Previous experience using Salesforce.com or a comparable CRM
