Job Description

As the QC Associate you will support QC laboratory testing and compliance related activities.  You will perform compendial testing (e.g., identity, appearance, pH, osmolality) in support of GMP samples and development studies.  


The position is responsible for the support of sample inventory and other compliance related tasks.  Additional responsibilities and duties will include support of raw materials and in process testing.  


Other duties:

  • Record data per GxP requirements.  Provide peer review of documentation as needed.
  • Perform raw materials testing and in process testing.
  • Assist with sample maintenance as requested.
  • Participate in the writing/editing of standard operational procedures, forms and reports and data archiving as requested.
  • Perform non-compendial analytical testing (e.g., chromatography).
  • Participate in laboratory investigations.
  • Document all activities using good documentation practices

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, Chemistry or scientific related field of study
  • Minimum 1 year of analytical laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical industry

 
 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform routine work following written procedures
  • Ability to multi task
  • Understanding of GMP requirements within a QC lab environment
  • Experience operating and maintaining HPLC
  • Experience working with a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs)
