Job Description
Teva CMC Biologics is responsible for developing large molecule products for Teva Pharmaceuticals. Currently, we have an exceptional opportunity for a Product Characterization Biological Researcher in the Analytical Sciences division.
Product characterization is a core competency for a biologics development organization due to the complexity of large protein therapeutics. As the Biological Researcher you will have an understanding of protein molecule and some expertise with various analytical technologies. You will utilize variant analytical tools to characterize therapeutic protein/peptide, product impurities, and related substance. In addition, you will support the improvement of existing analytical procedures and/or establishment of new procedures when needed.
Other duties:
- Support laboratory testing for process development and formulation development
- Follow good laboratory documentation practices
- Communicate and interpret results/data clearly, comprehensively and timely
- Maintain instruments and demonstrate stewardship of company resource
- Comply with all corporate and department policy and safety standards
- Demonstrate good corporate citizenship both in and out of the laboratory
- Evaluate new and emerging analytical technologies
- Internal/external presentation on technical topics
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelors or Masters in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related life sciences
- Minimum 3 years of experience for Bachelors or minimum 1 year of experience for Masters on HPLC/UPLC based protein analytical methods in pharmaceutical and/or CRO industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with Waters HPLC system and EMPOWER is highly preferred
- Good time management skill, multi-tasking and organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
