Job Description

 

Teva Biologics, Analytical Sciences and Operations, Bioassays and Biosciences Group, has a position at the Teva West Chester, PA site for an analyst experienced in executing ELISA and/ or BIAcore-based binding assays. 

 

The successful candidate will participate in development of ligand binding immunoassays, and be responsible for supplying timely, high quality, measurement of mAb drug candidate binding and affinity to antibody targets, Fc gamma receptors, and FcRn, for assessment of biosimilar candidates and for characterization of innovative products. Experience in laboratory automation / liquid handling systems a plus.

 

Proficiency with data analysis and documentation required. Candidate will be required to write protocols, standard methods and procedures, and reports. Candidate should possess strong organizational skills and be able to collect, organize and track data in spreadsheets and/or notebook.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop BIAcore and ELISA-based assays
  • Routine sample testing and analysis (BIAcore and ELISA)
  • Routine method qualification/validation
  • Author and review SOPs, protocols, and reports
  • Maintain lab supplies and critical reagents (ordering/inventory)
Qualifications

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or Biotechnology or other scientific related field of study
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in development and/or execution of ELISA, BIAcore-based assays or similar laboratory analysis

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in biologics product testing (e.g. monoclonal antibodies)
  • Familiar with CMC drug development activities and regulatory expectations
  • Meticulous attention to detail in following procedures, preparing written documentation and execution of experiments
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work on multiple projects concurrently 
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication skills
