BDS Selling Solutions Lead

**Position Summary:**

Responsible for leading and performing Total Solution Selling on the sales floor to support store Customer Service and Sales performance.

**General Purpose:**

**Role Qualifications:**

+ Ability to lead and coach the selling performance of others in a supportive manner

+ Ability to provide Store Leadership with overall selling culture Sales performance and provide feedback on sales performance and recommend improvement to store leadership

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Leads a team of Selling Solutions Advisors in achieving sales goals through the coaching and mentoring the skills to engage customers, understanding their needs and presenting product and services solutions; often performing and exhibiting these skills side by side

+ Drives productivity of Selling Solutions Advisors by assigning goals, setting expectations and assessing performance and sharing feedback with the Selling Solutions Manager

+ Works closely with Selling Solutions Manager to plan and prioritize all daily activities to meet company sales and service goals

+ Works closely with Selling Solutions Manager to develop action plans for areas of opportunity within the Selling Solutions department

+ Presents solutions across a broad range of product, including Computing, Printing, Office Supplies, Furniture, Ink & Toner, and Paper

+ Maintains and applies knowledge of technology products and services through required trainings and certifications as well as self-development

+ Maintains high customer readiness standards; deliver a clean, neat and easy to shop store environment

+ Ensures service, merchandising, and operational standards are met through company-defined practices and processes

+ Protect and maintain company assets through shortage awareness and effectiveness; ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented while maintaining a safe environment for customers and associates

+ Responsible for opening and closing the store as a key carrier and assuming role of Manager on Duty when assigned


**Basic Skills Required**

+ Able to work a flexible schedule; majority of shifts will be prior to store opening or after closing

+ Strong communication skills with the confidence to make key decisions.

+ Ability to work independently

+ Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly and climb ladders

+ Ability to stand and move about for extended periods of time with only brief periods of sitting

**Preferred skills and experience:**

+ 2+ years supervisory experience.

+ Excellent organizational skills.
