Candidates must be currently enrolled full-time at UK for the Spring 2021 semester and in good academic standing. This status must be maintained for the duration of employment with Information Technology Services.

Previous Customer Service experience, basic computer knowledge a plus

*Must be able to distinguish wiring colors
*Must be able to traverse campus while carrying or moving equipment in a reasonable amount of time.

Must be able to work flexible shifts; shifts are primarily either 7am – 5pm or 5pm – 10pm Monday – Thursday. 10 – 20 hours possible per week, not to exceed 20 hours per week.

This position will provide technical assistance to faculty and staff in Smart Classrooms and Distance Learning Classrooms. Job Duties to include, but not limited to: start up and shut down of Distance Learning rooms, troubleshoot minor technical issues in both smart classrooms and distance learning rooms. Assist with PC support and updates. Some office duties as required.

Good customer service and communication skills. PC/MAC knowledge desired, with Microsoft Office proficiency and other PC based programs.

Prefer candidate with previous Audio Visual experience
