Job Description
PwC's US Finance organization is a strategic business advisor responsible for managing the firm's financial risk, including: financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with strategic and tactical matters. Services include: budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, data and analytics related to portfolio performance, shared services and financing. Finance works daily with US Leadership, engagement partners and managers on managing the profitability of engagements and the overall business portfolio. Finance also works closely with the Network on portfolio management and investment decisions and has assisted other PwC Network firms regionalize their financial operations. Finance also analyzes potential acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships and divestitures, assisting with all integration and separation matters likely to arise.

LoS Finance, which is comprised of Vertical, Regional and Business Unit (BU) teams,is the primary interface to partners and client service staff. They are responsible for working closely with their Leaders indeveloping, improving, and driving financial and operational processes for the business. This will include developing and executing budgets and forecasts, asset management (i.e. billings and collections activities), and overseeing engagement economics for individual partners, clients, verticals, markets, BUs, and regions. They will manage portfolios at the various reporting levels as well as identify opportunitiesfor the Firm to gain competitive advantages.

The Line of Service Budget, Analysis and Accounting team provides critical support to LoS finance team and finance stakeholders.

Position/Program Requirements
Minimum Years of Experience: 2

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or GED

Degree(s) Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Knowledge Preferred:

Demonstrated knowledge of:

The firms organizational structure, reporting systems and Microsoft suite.

Tools and methodologies related to financial analysis and reporting

Skills Preferred:
Proven ability to:

Provide financial analysis, ad hoc reporting in the areas of research, project maintenance, cost management, and operational analysis.

Provide analytical and technical assistance to all levels of finance staff and other key stakeholders.

Propose and design changes and additions to existing reporting packages.

Analyze results and mitigates risk by monitoring and following up on outstanding issues.

Participate in cost containment, control improvements, and process efficiencies.

Interact effectively with system programmers and database administrators as necessary to develop or improve systems or tools.

Support all levels of staff by providing instruction/assistance on financial reporting systems, analyses and research.

Be proactive, inquisitive, and identify possible issues, make recommendations, and support conclusions.

Provide pricing type analysis to assess realization, investments and other type of profitability related requests.

Manage leadership requests related to strategic planning and presentations and other related ad hoc requests.

Manage quality related requests that may include time analysis for specific engagements or partners, support information for PCAOB reviews and a wide variety of other risk management related requests.

Resource related requests around utilization, market specific reviews/trends and other potential resource related requests.
