Job Description

 

Position Summary

You will support the Americas Region Operations Leadership team by developing and implementing effective governance practices, leading analysis and generating insights for strategic initiatives, building and supporting regional capabilities and implementation of improvements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Regional Governance

  • Lead preparation, content structuring and meeting formats, facilitation, summarization of actions and follow ups for key regional leaders governance events including:
    • Staff Meetings
    • Face-to-face Meetings and Round Tables.
    • Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) and other leadership meetings.
    • Support activities to develop regional Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
  • Manage process to produce and publish monthly site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) reports

 

Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead team of stakeholders including site General Managers (GM) and functional leaders (e.g., Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Finance), to assess options and benefits, select scenario, develop action plans , monitor and report on progress to optimize regional network footprint including but not limited to Site Long Range Plans (LRP), regulatory and compliance challenges, capacity constraints, network optimization, etc.
  • In collaboration with Regional OPEX team and on a capacity available basis , support operational and financial improvement activities at regional sites
  • Oversee validation, tracking and reporting of the operational and financial impact of regional improvement projects

 

Capability Building

  • Develop and deliver Business Process Improvement change management training materials to support rollout of strategic initiatives or actions to different levels of the organization
Qualifications

 

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in an Engineering/Technical, Scientific or related Business discipline (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain) preferred
  • MBA or relevant Masters Desirable
  • PMP Certification desired, but not required

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in operations functions such as engineering, production, supply chain, procurement, Material Science & Technology, Commercial, Research & Development (R&D), or finance 
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical, Consumer Products, Medical Devices or other regulated environment or top-tier consulting firm is a plus
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel or other analytical tools to analyze data and information and synthesize insights
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience preparing action oriented PowerPoint or other written reports to support senior leadership decision making
  • Must be able to travel approximately 25% --Primarily domestic
