Job Duties:


ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks an Associate Application Developer at our Alpharetta, GA location. Responsibilities: Participate in relevant aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, constructions, testing, reviews, and demonstrations. Work toward developing a highly scalable, distributed, compute intensive system. Perform design and code reviews. Develop and review software requirements, create design documents, write programs, package, test, configure, and deploy software, specifically in the HR and Benefits Domain. Work with clients, product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives. Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications. Troubleshoot issues and provide production support to clients and customers. Improve efficiency of Java development with processes and tools and increase and improve the availability of system information via APIs. Interface with Product Owners to understand business requirements and quality requirements.



Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field plus two (2) years of related experience. Employer will also accept a master’s degree and zero (0) years of experience.

Work Experience:

Experience and/or Coursework must include: Java; J2EE; Spring Framework; SQL; Java Persistence API; Microservices; JavaScript; HTML 5; CSS3; Kafka; Junit; Restful and SOAP based web services, including JSON and XML; and Agile Methodology.
