Doctoral degree in nursing required or doctoral degree in associated field with baccalaureate in nursing and master’s degree in nursing

Specialization as an Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Active Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) certification as an Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Active Kentucky license as a registered nurse

This position requires an individual to provide teaching, advising/mentoring and leadership for the College and University and building scholarly practice related to (a) delivery of care to acute and chronically ill populations in the inpatient/outpatient clinical settings (b) contributing to scholarly practice and © advancing nursing professionalism as an advanced practice nurse. Serve as a faculty member within the graduate program preparing advanced practice registered nurses in the College of Nursing and assist in the implementation of evidence-based practices for Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
