Job Description


Teva is searching for an Aseptic Fill Operator to join our team in Irvine, CA! The Aseptic Filling Operator supports production by operating filling equipment in an ISO Class 5 environment.


This position is for 2nd shift (Currently 6pm 6:30am with rotating days off)
Candidates must be flexible as to shift and days of the week


You will:

  • Ensure sterile injectable products are manufactured in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Policies
  • Perform equipment changeovers across multiple lines, sanitization (cleanrooms and equipment), line set-ups, operation of all machinery in ISO 5 and 7 areas, and operate processing testing equipment (e.g. gas chromatograph and electronic scales).
  • Perform Catching areas line clearances, label verification, perform in-process fill volume (employing SPC technique) testing, perform headspace verification, monitor filled product PM by conducting in-process visual inspection, collect samples for various QC programs.   
  • Communicate status of essential duties and responsibilities with different levels within the department.          
  • Accurately complete batch record documentation, all appropriate logbook entries and GMP documentation. 
  • Perform pre-manufacturing component visual inspection to reduce finished product defective units.   
  • Completes assigned training on time to maintain training compliance with procedures and policies.        
  • Practice Aseptic Technique on a consistent basis to minimize contamination in the Class 5/6 areas.       
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Policies and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure a compliant state of the areas.   
  • Maintain a state of compliance in the filling department and complete tasks, as assigned, in a timely manner



  • High school education or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years GMP - related production experience required
  • Good communication skills including: Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English required
  • Ability to demonstrate comprehension of machinery processes and troubleshooting required
  • Manual dexterity and lifting ability are requirements of this role
  • Ability to perform simple mathematic calculations with the aid of a calculator required
  • Ability to wear clean room gowning including mask required
  • Previous pharmaceutical experience preferred
