Head of Inside Sales and Account Management, Americas - Financial Intelligence | New York, NY

 

Informa Financial Intelligence is looking for a senior leader to head our Inside Sales and Account Management Team.  Focused on developing a high-velocity sales engine targeting mid to small financial services companies to drive growth and retention, this person will report directly to the Americas Head of Sales. You should have demonstrable experience with high-value hiring, training, mentoring, metrics management and execution, as well as the ability to help establish a playbook for measuring and scaling sales development.

 

Responsibilities 


• Manage all aspects of inside sales operations, from top-of-funnel through to closing and handoff to our Client Services team

• Provide data-driven feedback to sales team on performance

• Coordinate with enterprise sales leads on use case development and collaborative sales
• Leadership and organization skills to lead daily/weekly team check-ins for transparent, cross-team sharing of performance metrics, motivation, and lessons learned

• Data-driven with ability to set, measure, monitor, and share insights on what is working and what's not in order to motivate and optimize the team


Requirements

  • Total self-starter biased toward execution and willing to own key challenges in a mid to small accounts team model
  • Minimum of 7 years sales management experience
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding company’s sales/revenue goals
  • Excellent negotiation, opportunity qualification and client needs’ analysis skills
  • Commercial acumen around deal structure, licensing and terms
  • Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong presentation skills; both face to face and remotely
  • Strong B2B business development skills
  • Experience in solution/consultative selling
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to changing business priorities, processes and decisions
  • Financial Services Industry Knowledge, including understanding the business functions across both buy and sell side institutions
