Job Summary | The University of Kentucky Office of Philanthropy & Alumni Engagement is seeking a qualified individual to provide senior-level administrative support for our Gift & Estate Planning office. This position will provide administrative support for five (5) members of the Gift & Estate Planning team, including answering and maintaining the Department’s primary phone line; preparing, proofing, and mailing correspondence; data entry and tracking; filing; and scheduling meetings. The Administrative Support Associate will provide support for all aspects of donor identification, solicitation and stewardship. The incumbent will provide direct administrative support in the administration of the University’s charitable life insurance pool of over 300 policies. The successful candidate will cultivate and recognize individuals who make planned gifts and maintain contact with potential planned gift donors through written and telephone communication. This position is responsible for maintaining and inputting accurate information into our CRM alumni/donor database, Excel spreadsheets, and other departmental databases/reports. This position will prepare PRDs, prepare check transmittals, monitor current balance of operating budget for Gift and Estate Planning following university policies and procedures. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills, excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, be adaptable, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
