Job Summary:

May teach Business Communications, Business Statistics, Economics, Management, Supply Chain Management, Non-Profit Management, Fundraising and Development, Project Management, or Personal Selling and Sales Management for the Fall 2019 semester.

Rate of Pay: $650 per credit hour

Essential Job Functions:

  1. Maintain syllabus, assignments, exams, and online classroom content as necessary.
  2. Plan and facilitate classroom learning.
  3. Participate in student retention and persistence efforts.
  4. Communicate progress in the course to students in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance and progress and provide them to
    administration in accordance with established institutional policies and procedures.
  6. Support the mission of the program, division, and college
  7. Completes all mandatory training and participated in a minimum of two professional development each year.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to effectively communicate one-on-one, in small groups, and in classroom situations.
    Effective problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Passion for assisting customers and representing the OSU brand with positivity and professionalism
  • Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching at the college level.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Working Conditions:

Classes may be day or evening. Evening and weekend hours may be required for class preparation or assignment/exam grading.

Physical Requirements:

Duties require extended periods of sitting, talking, listening and computer usage.
