Primarily Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, but may required additional night and weekend hours depending on workload.

Job Summary

UK Healthcare is seeking a STEMI Care Coordinator, to provide quality, care coordination, and program development for STEMI. The selected candidate will building EMS relationships and work with other hospitals in providing excellent cardiac care for the patients of the Commonwealth. The STEMI Coordinator will serve as the primary UK liaison of PCI and catheterization procedures at Gill affiliate hospitals, while developing educational material for best practices and appropriate utilization and working collaboratively with affiliate hospital to facilitate the implementation standards.

The STEMI Care Coordinator will also: conduct assessments of PCI and cath lab care, including peer review when appropriate, review documentation and recommend areas for improvement, assist in benchmarking care using national standards, and registries, and prepare reports and analysis on a regular basis (e.g. quarterly) with recommendations for improvements in care.

Experience in cath lab/EMS that understands guidelines and care for the cardiovascular patient.
