Informa Business Intelligence currently have an exciting opportunity in our London office for an ambitious Graduate with a business related degree, or a junior sales professional looking to join a world leader in Business Intelligence as an Inside Sales and Marketing Executive.

The Inside Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for:

  • Creatively prospecting, pursuing and securing new business from the Key Accounts through working closely with the Key account management team
  • Building a strong network of contacts and identifying early stage opportunities in key areas within the advisory, advertising and finance industries 
  • Learning and understanding how business challenges drive the sales process
  • Developing skills around strategic selling, presentations, proposal writing and pricing packaging custom solutions
  • Helping update our landing pages for our clients on a monthly basis – working closely with Account Managers to upload relevant content and any other changes needed as well as tracking traffic
  • Working closely with the marketing manager on new business campaigns across key sectors – collating relevant content/ setting up campaigns and following up to set up meetings and create lead

 

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • A 2:1 or higher degree with preference of a business related degree
  • Can demonstrate solution selling leveraging a consultative approach, and a desire and hunger to prospect new business contacts
  • Effective time management as this role involves working with Account Directors in different locations
  • Some experience in a sales/retention's role dealing with senior management in a B2B solution sales environment would be an advantage
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with strong presentation, communication and closing ability  
  • The ability to identify new revenue opportunities and maximise product potential
