## Job Mission

In support of the Global Business Manager, this position within the Account Team:
(1) Inputs into the development of the global commercial strategy
(2) Contributor in the execution of the global commercial strategy. Role is part of the negotiation team to closure of global sales for systems, systems enhancements, service including associated T&C;’s for a major customer account.

## Job Description

1. Volume Purchase Agreements (VPA), assist in:

* Developing VPA proposal and value proposition N+1 business

* Securing internal VPA proposal alignment (incl. financial targets) and gain VPA proposal approval (DST)

* Negotiate VPA with customer and secure customer approval not covered by the local account manager

* Jointly with Legal and Finance, draft VPA documents detailing pricing and related T&Cs;

* Monitor and execute VPA and agreements

2. Other commercial/contracts/forecast responsibility

* Draft and execute smaller business agreements

* Interaction with OMD, business line on pricing (quote to cash)

* Organize with Sales Operations for demand forecast MOR and RFF

* Ensure lifecycle management on installed base

* Oversee management of forecast with customer’s procurement organization

3. Customer Intimacy

* Drive meetings with customers procurement department(s) globally and assist with potential local interfaces to make sure of global consistent approach

* Manage global customer survey and scorecards, including follow-up actions

* Facilitate actions/activities to help strengthening of the relationship with the customer

* Interaction with Field Marketing (FM) and business lines to address gaps and leverage advantages

## Education

* Bachelor degree in an engineering field, or equivalent business experience

* Master’s degree in finance, marketing or management is a plus

## Experience

* Typically requires 5+ years directly related sales experience in the semiconductor industry and has been successful at management of other accounts

* Has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the unique cultural issues that must be taken into account to successfully do business in various international markets, preferably has past experience working with customer and/or company team members in various locations across the globe

* Ability to marshal the resources internally across ASML departments to ensure integrated account management

* Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present concepts and influence others at all levels

* Ability to think creatively and innovatively to anticipate issues and solve or remove problems and obstacles to close business

* Ability to analyze and draw conclusions from data or report information

* Excellent negotiation and interaction and customer relationship management skills

* A strategic thinker with the focus and drive to see results delivered

* Has effective teamwork skills and ability to work with others at all levels

* Strong business sense and negotiation skills required
